About Me:
I am a lifelong learner and love to explore new places and travel with family, friends, and students. For me, there is no better way to learn than to immerse myself in a new travel adventure. This past summer, my family and I traveled to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Turks & Caicos. I caught the love for travel in 9th grade when I spent 3 months living in Israel, as well as exploring Egypt, Scotland, and England.
Experience in Education:
- 18 years teaching preschool
- 2 years teaching 3rd and 4th grade
- 5 years teaching 8th grade History
- 15 years teaching 7/8th Science
- 12 years as a National Curriculum trainer for the Medal of Honor Character Development Program
- CTE Lab and Culinary Arts
Goals:
My goal this year is to challenge students to strive for academic excellence by fostering a learning environment that promotes respect, compassion, and inclusivity. As students learn to navigate life this year and prepare for high school and beyond, they are reminded to find joy in their journey along the way.
