Miss Taylor Ayers
About Me:
Hi! My name is Miss Ayers, and I teach 6th-grade English and Science. I love helping students think deeply, explore new ideas, and find creative ways to show what they’ve learned. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in the sunshine—especially camping at the beach, exploring new places, learning about history, and being with my friends and family.
Experience in Education:
- 5 years doing before/after school care
- 2 years teaching preschool
- 3rd year teaching 6th grade
Goals:
This year, my goal is for every student to feel proud of themselves as scholars. I want them to build confidence in reading, writing, and thinking critically, while exploring new ideas and perspectives. I hope students see that their voices and creativity matter, and that they can take risks, make mistakes, and grow. Most importantly, I want them to leave 6th grade knowing they are capable, resilient, and ready for what’s ahead.
