About Me:
Hello, my name is Nicole Higdon, and I will be teaching 5th grade at High Desert again this year. This will be my fourth year teaching, and my eighth year working in education. I enjoy learning new things, and I feel you are never too old to learn something new. I hope that I can share my love for learning with the students and that they also develop a love for learning. I live locally in Agua Dulce with my husband, two children, and many furry friends. I love being outdoors in nature, listening to music, taking pictures, and eating delicious food. I also love to travel and have visited 9 countries. I am currently the Vice President of the Agua Dulce Women’s Club and love to participate in local events.
Experience in Education:
4 years as an elementary school teacher
Goals:
This year, I am hoping to develop more engaging strategies in the classroom, develop strong relationships with my students, and attend extra professional development classes. I would also love to learn French!
