About Me:

Hello!  My name is Vic Afetian and I have been teaching Middle School Math for 24 years and am excited to start my 25th year teaching math at High Desert School.  I live “right down the street” in Canyon Country.  I also like to play guitar and, perhaps, teach some students a few guitar chords!

Experience in Education:

• 24 years teaching Math and Science in middle school

Goals:

I look forward to helping our young scholars reach their highest potential in math, as well as educating them to be good citizens and encouraging them to have a positive growth mindset to reach their full potential as young adults.
