Mrs. Nicole Acuña
About Me:
I am passionate about Special Education! When I am not writing IEPs or planning fun lessons for my students, I enjoy cooking, camping and traveling with my family. We love riding quads and going fishing. I am also a music lover, and I'll never turn down the opportunity to sing and dance!
Experience in Education:
This year marks my 7th year teaching as a Special Educator and my 17th year in the special education field. When it comes to teaching and learning, I thrive on building relationships with students and their families all while making connections to the curriculum.
Goals:
I want students and families to feel empowered within the IEP process. I want to collaborate with HDS staff to make our school exciting, engaging, and safe.
