Mrs. Nicole Slamer-Higdon

About Me:

Hello, my name is Nicole Higdon and I will be teaching 5th grade at High Desert this year. This will be my third year teaching, and my seventh year working in education.  I enjoy learning new things, and feel you are never too old to learn something new.  I hope that I can share my love for learning with the students and that they also develop a love for learning.  I live in Agua Dulce with my husband, two children and many furry friends.   I am an active member of the Agua Dulce Women's Club, and sit on various committees such as the Country Fair and Tree Lighting.  In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking, horseback riding, family game nights, photography, and spending time with my family.

I am new to High Desert this year, but I am very excited to be here and I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead with the Hawks!
